Job Description

Are you an Engineer looking to expand your horizons into Project Management? BAE Systems is looking for a strong candidate with a Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering background in Mobile Deployable platforms. The position is for a Project Manager who can lead innovative engineering solutions as the overall project lead and manage integration type projects. BAE Systems offers a robust and well-disciplined Project Management Training program leading to Project Management Professional certification for those candidates transitioning from an engineering role.

As a Project Manager, the candidate will oversee and manage the technical project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will also prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resources needed. As part of the Project Management Office, the candidate will review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. The role will include the assessment of issues and development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. The team member will also provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering and 6 years of C4ISR system design and mobile platform integration type projects

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
