Summary:

We seek a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Counter Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and generating sales at our sales counter, as well as assisting in the warehouse as needed. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping customers find the right products.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary depending on needed activities, including the warehouse, sales floor, and external environments. Some activities will include lifting (a maximum of 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide excellent customer service at the sales counter by assisting customers with product inquiries, orders, and purchases.

  • Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone.

  • Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times and assist in maintaining the entire location in a clean and orderly fashion.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials while accurately updating inventory records.

  • Prepare orders for shipment and assist with loading/unloading products.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sales counter and warehouse operation.
