The Production Coating Machine Operator will effectively and efficiently operate the lacquer or sizing machines

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operation of coater for application of various coatings
  • Establishing and following coater production parameters and set-ups
  • Maintenance of accurate production parameters and paperwork
  • High degree of on-line inspection for optical defects
  • Packing of coated rolls for shipping
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain quality compliance

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate a team approach
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Mechanical ability to change coating cylinders and rollers, with extreme care, cleanliness and safety
  • Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Ability up to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience and Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic and intermediate math
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • SAP/Microsoft Office knowledge a plus
