Our client is currently hiring Global Pharmaceutical Publications Consultant to join their team in Boston. As a Global Pharmaceutical Publications Consultant you will be responsible for leading the company-sponsored publication programs. The assigned publications will have global reach, may involve complexity, and carry significant business importance for Takeda and our reputation. This role requires advanced multi-functional leadership experience to effectively achieve program goals and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines. salary: $108.33 - $110 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Global Pharmaceutical Publications Consultant, job duties include:

  • Ensure company-sponsored publication activities adhere to good publication practices, including ICMJE, GPP3, CONSORT, and Global Publication Standard, SOP, and applicable practice guidelines.

  • Develop and oversee product/disease area Global Publication Strategies and Plans in collaboration with relevant Global Medical Teams.

  • Provide functional-level leadership, inspiring, motivating, and driving results within the team.

  • Effectively communicate ideas and data to internal and external stakeholders, including authors, Publication Steering Committees, and asset Publication teams.

  • Collaborate as an effective team player to engender credibility and confidence both within and outside the company.

Skills:

  • 7 years of publication experience in medical communication agencies or the biopharmaceutical industry within a matrix structure.

  • 3 years of experience in a medical affairs role (e.g., Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical Education, Publications, Evidence Generation).

  • Experience with a variety of data types and outputs, including clinical trial reports, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, patient-reported outcomes, data presentation, and interpretation.

  • CMPP (Certified Medical Publication Professional) qualification preferred.
