Holiday time is given according to the Univ policy.Job SummaryThis position will serve as a Research Assistant for the Department of Otolaryngology, supporting several federally-funded research studies related to hearing loss and other hearing healthcare conditions.These social/behavioral science studies currently include investigations of interventions to improve adherence to diagnostic hearing testing guidelines for newborns and to support parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.The research assistant will be responsible for recruitment of participants as well as communication with enrolled research participants via telephone or email. The research assistant will also assist with data collection, management, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.This includes preparation of data for publications and presentations and generating reports for investigators and stakeholders. This position will also be responsible for keeping records of study materials such as informed consents and payments forms.
