Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.ShiftDays, Monday-Friday. Schedule is flexible- clinic is open 7am-5:30pm. No weekends or holidays at this time.Job SummaryThe position of Physical therapist will provide direct patient care and will assist the Supervisor and Senior Leaders in program development while adhering to the policies and procedures of the University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Will perform physical therapy evaluations and render physical therapy treatments following a physician’s order. Will treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. Will perform appropriate documentation in the medical record. This position will support the Pelvic Health Program.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThe ideal candidate will have excellent communication and computer skills; be able to work in a fast paced environment; and have pelvic health physical therapy experience.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Outpatient Physical Therapy experience preferred.
