Kentucky Blood Center HR Representative (M-F, 8a - 5p) in Lexington, Kentucky

KBC is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated professional to join the Human Resources team. This position will be responsible for providing good internal customer service while supporting the Company's mission.

The role will support and administer programs and functions including but not limited to the following:

  • Benefits

  • Employee Onboarding & Biweekly Orientation

  • HRIS & Records Management

  • Reporting & Compliance Data

  • Leave of Absence Administration

  • Employee Customer Service

  • Event Planning

  • Service as back-up for other department team members

    Minimum of 2 years of HR experience (with focus on benefits, orientation/onboarding, HRIS, and corresponding areas), and a related degree (HR, Business Administration, Accounting) highly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with the appropriate combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who possesses strong administrative and analytical skills, exhibits a courteous demeanor, and demonstrates the ability to remain organized while balancing diverse priorities. Must have proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to navigate and learn web-based applications and proprietary systems. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus. Proof of education required during the interview process. Must be located in the Central Kentucky area. Works onsite Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with occasional evenings and weekends. Active driver's license and reliable transportation for business errands and limited in-state travel.
