Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Global Product Manager for a permanent, direct hire opportunity in the Lexington, KY area for a global leader in manufacturing personal protective equipment for various industries, such as emergency response, life sciences, and industrial health and safety. The Global Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle of thermal imaging products. Responsibilities include solving end customer problems, defining and executing the product and portfolio vision from concept to production, determining strategy and guiding product innovations that help grow and engage our customers. The individual in this role is responsible for creating, communicating, and championing the global product portfolio vision and overall strategy. They write user stories and define product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features. This person partners with product development to develop and manage plans for new products, services, and technology roadmaps. They provide prioritization to cross-functional resources that balance new product development efforts, technology development, quality improvements, and more. Their responsibilities also include Product Life Cycle planning, analysis, and implementation, including product simplification and optimization. The Global Product Manager is involved in the development of business cases and evaluation associated with new product opportunities. They handle product line pricing strategy and competitive pricing analysis, as well as product line profitability analysis, including annual revenues and gross margins. This individual works with country product and marketing teams to localize existing and new products and services to meet the needs of different geographies. Finally, they align with and represent the company on various standards setting bodies and customer groups. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of product management and market dynamics. This is a full-time permanent role with an incredibly employee focused manufacturing company in the Lexington area.
