Kentucky Blood Center Courier (Monday–Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm) in Lexington, Kentucky

$500 Sign-On Bonus (after 90-days)

Pay: $14 - $16 per hour, based on education and experience.

Hours: Monday – Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00pm . Schedule may vary due to mobile blood drive schedules. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including on-call, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Description: Seeking self-starter to pick up blood, blood components and supplies from mobile drives and donor centers and deliver to assigned locations. Responsibilities also includes but are not limited to: loading and unloading supplies; conducting pre and post vehicle inspections; maintaining assigned vehicle in a clean and safe operating manner; and washing of vehicles as needed.

Work Environment : This position regularly involves the following:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand and walk.

  • Occasionally required to stoop and kneel.

  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

  • Reading, understanding, and applying Standard Operating Procedures.

    Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 25 years old

  • High school diploma/equivalent.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid Kentucky driver's license and safe driving record.

  • Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process.
