Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD with expertise that complements existing center strengths. Research areas of interest include cell signaling, metabolism, redox biology, cancer genetics and epigenetics, mechanisms of progression or treatment resistance of hematologic malignancies. Competitive start-up funds and faculty salary will be provided, commensurate with level of experience. In addition, wet laboratory space will be provided in the new, open-format, Healthy Kentucky Research Building which house the majority of cancer basic researchers and is in close proximity to state-of-the-art research cores.The Markey Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center on the medical campus of the University of Kentucky.
