Freedom Powersports Shipping & Receiving Associate in Lewisville, Texas

RideNow Powersports Lewisville, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly individual to join our Parts team! Being a part of RumbleOn means you are part of the country’s largest retailer of powersports, so if you are looking for an opportunity to work with awesome motorcycles and cool people where you have endless opportunities for growth, look no further!

The ideal Shipping and Receiving candidate will have knowledge of powersports or automotive parts, logistics and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Place orders for parts as needed from vendors

  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material

  • Inspect orders for damage, report and return unfit items

  • Stock all parts and accessories in their correct bins and/or locations

  • Pull, label, and set items for repair orders in designated areas

  • Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports etc.)

  • Ship all parts and accessories in accordance with the carrier's shipping instructions (i.e., route, UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc)

  • Maintain cleanliness of the Parts department and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly

  • Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a parts warehouse or at a parts counter within a dealership

  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields preferred

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Previous experience with EVO preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to complete tasks accurately in an organized fashion with little direction

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, work in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions frequently
