CENTURY COMPANIES, INC., A HIGHLY REPUTABLE HEAVY CIVIL, CONCRETE AND ASPHALT PAVING CONTRACTOR BASED IN LEWISTOWN, MONTANA, IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION: OILER

Classification: Full Time Seasonal

Work Location: Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for checking fluid levels (Fuel, Grease and Oil) and performing preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil/air filters and oil samples) on all heavy equipment on the job site according to schedules or as needed. The oiler also safely operates a lube/grease truck to dispense lubricants to construction equipment. Also the oiler will be required to assist the mechanic during repairs.

DUTIES:

Work under supervision of project superintendent or other designated person

Prepare service truck for use

Miscellaneous parts running and servicing

Service the asphalt plant, including generator oil change

Make daily walk-around of all rolling stock

Make repair list for the Job Superintendent

Perform minor repairs during servicing

Report all fuel usage to project supervisor

Correctly complete daily lube reports

Order supplies daily as needed

Service and maintain the service truck

Keep job van neat and clean

Maintain positive attitude

Complete responsibilities in a congenial and collaborative manner with co-workers

Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment and culture

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must meet minimum age requirements

Class A Commercial drivers license with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsement preferred

Training provided by employer for non-CDL holders
