LEWISTOWN PUBLIC WORKS DEPT. Cemetery Caretaker in LEWISTOWN, Montana

The Cemetery Caretaker is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the cemetery; opens and closes graves using backhoe and hand tools. Communicate with public and staff in a professional and polite manner.

HOURS/DAYS: Full-time

WAGE:: $18.57/hr

Open until filled. Preference given to applications received by April 16, 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Posses Montana Driver's License Minimum (1) year experience in ground maintenance.

Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must be able to perform simple math calculations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Physical requirements include bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, walking, mowing

Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. (greater with assistance)

Working conditions are performed out of doors, however generally is controllable.

May be exposed to lawn and tree spraying chemicals.
