YOGO INN Bartender in LEWISTOWN, Montana

The Yogo Inn is hiring a part-time to full-time Bartender.

HOURS: Shifts can be afternoons or evenings on a variable schedule

WAGE: $12.00/ hr (or more depending on experience), plus tips. This bar has a history of excellent tips for good bartenders.

WORK ACTIVITIES:

Provide excellent customer service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests in a can-do fashion, engaging in polite conversation when time allows.

Be fully informed of beverage and menu offerings, in anticipation of guest needs and to deliver highly attentive service.

Prepare drinks for cocktail service orders and have a passion for mixology.

Maintain a safe, clean environment which includes managing people with discretion and professionalism and occasionally diffusing difficult situations. Ensure the bar and its equipment are clean and fully functional.

This position may include tending a portable bar at catered events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Customer service and/or bartending experience required.

Awareness of and compliance with all liquor laws, inter-state guidelines, policies and procedures is required.

Must be able to communicate to verbally and in writing.

Ability to accurately count money and efficiently process transactions using company systems.

Ability to operate bar equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires continuous movement and the ability to lift and carry up to 36 pounds.
