YOGO INN Banquet Captain/Server in LEWISTOWN, Montana

The Yogo Inn is hiring a part-time to full-time Banquet Captain/Server.

HOURS: Position is currently part time but can quickly lead to full time. Short shifts, weekdays, weekends, on call WAGE: $15.00/hr plus tips

DUTIES:

  • Oversee banquet events and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
  • Coordinate and ensure setup and take down of all events
  • Train and mentor new team members
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards are met
  • Handle and report customer feedback to management and resolve any immediate issues per company policies
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment
  • Be able to assist in restaurant and lounge service needs when called upon
  • Ability to carry out position for both on and off site events
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Food service management

  • Excellent customer service
  • Banquet set up and aesthetic food presentation
  • Ability to learn the POS quickly
  • Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Catering experience of various size groups
  • Bartending experience a plus
  • Cooking / Pastry chef experience a plus
  • Ability to work well with management and colleagues and foster a positive environment ? no drama
  • Reliability and flexibility is required. Substance abuse issues need not apply.
