YOGO INN Banquet Captain/Server in LEWISTOWN, Montana
The Yogo Inn is hiring a part-time to full-time Banquet Captain/Server.
HOURS: Position is currently part time but can quickly lead to full time. Short shifts, weekdays, weekends, on call WAGE: $15.00/hr plus tips
DUTIES:
- Oversee banquet events and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Coordinate and ensure setup and take down of all events
- Train and mentor new team members
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards are met
- Handle and report customer feedback to management and resolve any immediate issues per company policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment
- Be able to assist in restaurant and lounge service needs when called upon
- Ability to carry out position for both on and off site events
Adhere to health and safety regulations QUALIFICATIONS:
Food service management
- Excellent customer service
- Banquet set up and aesthetic food presentation
- Ability to learn the POS quickly
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Catering experience of various size groups
- Bartending experience a plus
- Cooking / Pastry chef experience a plus
- Ability to work well with management and colleagues and foster a positive environment ? no drama
- Reliability and flexibility is required. Substance abuse issues need not apply.
