POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Technician assists in inspecting and maintaining bank property. They respond to general maintenance requests, assist in preventative maintenance and security tasks, and coordinates with 3^rd^party vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of both skilled and unskilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks at Northeast Bank Facilities.
  • Participates in rotating 24/7 on-call availability.
  • Maintains records of work activities ensuring work is documented and completed on time.
  • Minor carpentry repairs including painting, drywall, woodwork, and carpet.
  • Minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.
  • Schedule, manage, and supervise 3^rd^party vendors as required.
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Maine drivers license.
  • Two or more years in a similar or related facilities role.
  • Able to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Follow all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Extensive travel within the banks footprint required.
  • Occasionally work unpredictable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, stand, and balance.
  • Able to climb up and down ladders.
  • Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and a usually moderate noise level.
  • Must express or exchange ideas and meaning with co-workers, supervisors, customers. and vendors.
