Tow Truck Driver Job Summary

Our company is looking for an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our fleet. We prefer a commercial drivers license (CDL) and some commercial driving or trucking experience. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck or tractor-trailer is a plus. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled motorists with services such as transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infraction. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.

Tow Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
  • Stay in contact with motorists when you are enroute
  • Perform towing of customers vehicle to a garage
  • Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
  • Keep your truck clean and in good condition
  • Remove cars per Law Enforcement request

Tow Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

  • A commercial drivers license
  • At least one year of commercial driving experience
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail when documenting work
  • Physical strength and stamina

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: \$15.00 - \$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekend availability
