SEYMOUR PACIFIC DEVELOPMENTS LTD. Civil Foreman – Residential Properties( Lethbridge) in Lethbridge, Alberta

The Civil Construction Foreman will provide on-site direction, coordination, and supervision to ensure completion and quality of civil work on our multi-family residential construction site. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a working knowledge of various civil and residential construction means and methods

Your contributions to the team:

  • Perform civil works coordination, inspections, and quantity measurement

  • Check grades and elevations of newly installed infrastructure

  • Monitor and coordinate contractor progress to ensure work is completed within construction schedule

  • Check for compliance to plans and specifications

  • Review and confirmation of monthly progress worksheets and measurements

  • Maintain an as-built plan and communicate changes to Civil Team

  • Follow up on deficiencies to ensure timely correction and completion of work

  • Assure compliance with the project construction schedule and budgets

  • Uphold the job-related safety regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Ensure project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards

  • Use best efforts to resolve any scheduling challenges/disputes between on-site subcontractors and suppliers.

What you need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma/GED Completion

  • Valid Driver’s License, class 3 would be an asset

  • Minimum 2 years of civil construction experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing project sites/civil crews is an asset

  • Equipment operation is an asset

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License

  • Understanding of methodology and terminology in the civil construction industry

  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction drawings

  • Working experience in earthworks and utility installation

  • Results-focused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction field

  • Ability to travel and work on various job sites at different territorial locations
