The Thermo Fisher site in Lengnau BE is an innovative new production facility for biologics, which is being qualified and ramped up.

Our graduate rotation program:

Are you ready to kick-start your Biotech career in a fast paced, international environment? We are looking for you to be part of Thermo Fisher Lengnau Operations program of a global market leader!

This program has been crafted to offer the skills and knowledge you need to immediately make valuable contributions and bring new insight to meeting the needs of our premier Life Science clients.

You will be working at the manufacturing department, which is the heart of our business in Lengnau operations. This means that the skills gained by the program can serve as an invaluable foundation toward developing your career within our global organization.

Depending on the skills, interests and career goals, the Graduate with Focus "Manufacturing" will choose the selection of 3 to 4 specific rotations at the site Lengnau. Each rotation lasts 5-6 months until completion with subsequent transfer to the next rotation. The overall graduate program will last 24 months.

Your Keys to Success:

Education

  • You have just acquired your Technical college degree, University, Masters or certificate program degree with final year study graduating in 2024, particularly in Applied Life Sciences (Process technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and/or Bioscience) and Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing/Production, Bio, and/or Chemical)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Flexibility to work in shift mode

  • English and German proficiency to business standard essential

  • Problem solving and diagnostic skills

  • Team player

  • Literacy and experience in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Passion and motivation to be the best in your field

  • Adaptable and eager to learn

  • Communicative personality and technically or scientifically curious
