GBA, a professional, full service architectural and engineering firm is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an Electrical Engineer position in our Mission Critical group located in our Lenexa, Kansas office.? This group specializes in the Mission Critical industry and serves many of the top Information Technology companies as an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and project managers. GBA offers the opportunity to work on a large variety of projects from start to finish, in a collaborative team environment, with room for career growth and development.?

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical power systems design including switchboards, generators, ATSs and UPSs for Mission Critical facilities
  • Facility evaluations, assessments, engineering studies, and troubleshooting
  • Project phasing plans including temporary measures to maintain services in our clients live facilities
  • Arc Flash, coordination, and short circuit studies
  • Client, Owner, Contractor interface
  • Interior and exterior lighting design
  • Commissioning

Requirements:

  • BS in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must be a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer in at least one state OR tracking to receive your PE.
  • Must have a minimum of 6+ years of related experience
  • Organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
