Job Title: Junior Cost Accounting Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Cost Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role will involve supporting the analysis of our manufacturing operations, evaluating manufacturing equipment availability and utilization, executing the month-end cost accounting close, maintaining our cost accounting system and cost ledger, undertaking life cycle cost-benefit analyses, and analyzing inventory valuations. You will work onsite at our office providing finance support for our local MRO management team. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and updating standard costs in the system, monitoring labor efficiency metrics, conducting root cause analysis on production variances, ensuring the accuracy of warranty recharge processes, and tracking and reconciling MRO manufacturing costs, labor, and other expenses. You will also be involved in headcount forecasting and planning, assisting with capital expenditure and justification, executing monthly closeout processes including general ledger balancing and reporting, auditing, tracking, and monitoring the inventory cycle count program, and other related duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in accounting or Finance required

  • 2-3 years of accounting experience

  • Cost accounting/manufacturing industry experience preferred

  • SAP and/or JD Edwards experience preferred
