Actalent Electronics Engineer in Lenexa, Kansas

Description:

The candidate will join a test development team in support of software development for the purpose of performing verification tests.

• BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree

• Working with lab tools (O-scopes, multimeters, rf signal generators)

• Testing avionics equipment or similar systems

• Automating and writing software for test equipment in LabWindows (or C/C++)

Other Responsibilities:

Contribution to test software design

Requirements gathering/analysis

Implementation

Troubleshooting and Bug-fixing

Review and demonstrations of accomplishments

Development of C/C++ test software

Automating electronic test equipment to perform automated tests

Skills:

C++, Programming, testing, troubleshooting, labwindows, c/c++, RF Measurements, transponders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field

Experience:

5-7 years of working with testing equipment

Knowledge of Mode S Transponders/Interrogators.

Experience using test equipment to perform audio and RF measurements.

Knowledge of test engineering design concepts

Software:

Experience designing, developing, and testing in C/C++

Must be ITAR complaint
