Leprino Foods HR Generalist I in Lemoore (West), California

Within our flagship Lemoore West manufacturing facility located in Lemoore, California Leprino is seeking an HR Generalist with experience handling a broad range of human resources functions to help grow, mentor, and support the 1,000 employees that call this facility home. Will you turn your passion for people into impact by directly contributing to fostering a healthy environment for the next generation of Leprinos leaders to thrive?

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $80,000 and $88,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

  • Be part of the excitement as an HR Generalist at our vibrant non-union manufacturing facility in beautiful Lemoore, California!

  • Support the Plant HR Manager in fostering a strong culture, driving organizational design, developing leaders, and championing Company initiatives.

  • Partner with a designated business unit to deliver exceptional service that aligns with our strategic objectives.

  • Provide valuable HR guidance and support to front-line leadership, empowering them to succeed.

  • Analyze trends and metrics, collaborating with our HR group to develop innovative solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Resolve complex employee relations issues with empathy and fairness.

  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations, ensuring transparency and respect.

  • Coach and mentor front-line supervisors to develop their leadership skills and boost employee engagement.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective performance management practices.

  • Lead change management projects to drive positive transformations within the business unit.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, California state, and local employment laws.

  • Conduct internal audits of HR policies and procedures to maintain adherence and quality.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support on various HR matters, including benefits, compensation, leaves of absence, conflict resolution, performance management, and recognition.

  • Support the growth and development of the HR team through coaching and mentorship.

    You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor's in HR, OD, or other similar fields including three (3) years of experience as an HR Associate/Specialist or Generalist within a manufacturing environment.

  • Solid knowledge of California and Federal employment law and practices.

    We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience in employment law, OD and planning, labor relations, safety, and training.

  • Continuous Improvement knowledge and experience within either Kaizen, Standard Work, 5S Program, Process Mapping, Cause Mapping, or Project Management.

  • A Masters in Labor Relations, HR Management, or OD including a PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP (and SCP) certification.

  • Experience in a 24/7 dairy manufacturing environment with leadership over HR Supervisors or HR Generalists.
