UL, LLC Digital Wallet Advisor in Leiden, Netherlands

You will be part of our digital identity team, supporting customers with defining, implementing and validating solutions in the digital identity domain.

As such, you will become an expert on the newest technologies, including ISO mobile identity documents, verifiable credentials and related developments. Together we share relevant developments in the market and standards.

You combine various perspectives, such as technical, operational, standards, legislation and business into successful solutions. You will look into details and apply creativity to come up with viable solutions.

You aim for high-quality delivery, can work in collaboration with the team as well as independently and take responsibility. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with the possibility of occasional travel.

We act on both national and international levels. Good communication skills with customers and other stakeholders in English are required, proficiency in Dutch is preferred.

Performs billable work through defining and evaluating specifications, and architecture, creating technical requirements, report writing, information analysis, testing and test management, (pre) auditing and other advisory services.

  • Provides high- and low-level technical support to customers as directed.

  • Works on technical projects within the market area to understand, define and meet customer needs.

  • Responsible for the quality of project deliverables. Acts as a UL ambassador in the customer environment.

  • Become an expert within the market area.

  • Maintain/improve technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, obtaining applicable certifications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies and cross-departmental task forces.

  • Shares knowledge with Associates from the Advisory team.

  • Coaching can be a part of the role.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • University Degree (Equivalent to a Bachelors degree), preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or a technically related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in customer facing advisory services, technical expertise communication skills, in depth knowledge of the indicated market domain.

  • Able to quickly adapt to various technical and organizational environments, ability to coach other team members.
