Job Purpose

To manage the day to day running of the waste transfer station (WTS) to ensure maximum productivity

Responsibilities

  • To oversee the day to day running of the WTS to maximise production

  • To manage the site labour to ensure all tasks are completed

  • To keep accurate records and review staff timesheets

  • To carry out any other duties relating to the WTS as requested by an Area Manager

  • To ensure all maintenance checks/tasks are carried out on site plant

  • Report any plant/machinery defects to the relevant party

  • Ensure all site H&S requirements are adhered to

  • To ensure any training requirements are highlighted to line management especially for legislative minimum requirements

  • Conduct themselves in such a way to not endanger themselves or those around them

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times as an ambassador of Mick George Group
