Full job description

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team. The Electrical and Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, specification, installation, and development of electrical, automation and controls systems that affect safety, quality, reliability and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Philadelphia, Easton or York, PA locations okay hybrid/remote

 

What's the Job?

  • Design of automated conveyor equipoment.
  • Develop and apply expertise in machine controls such as PLC, HMI, servos, drives and discrete control systems.
  • Ensure the electrical power distribution systems (480v, 240v) are installed properly.
  • Ensure electrical and controls drawings, backups and records are accurate and organized.
  • Lead and execute electrical and automation projects.
  • Consult with customer throughout design and installation process.
  • Guide Installation Technicians with any installation or service issues.

What's Needed?

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical degree with expereince
  • Experience in Allen Bradley automation and control systems
  • A self starting team player that can handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability for some minor travel
