Responsibilities

Programs of service include an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 40-bed acute psychiatric hospital. North Spring is currently welcoming a Full-Time Talent Aqcuisition Specialist to our team, Partnering with the Director of Human Resources, the HR Recruiter will effectively recruit, process, and recommend high-quality candidates who embody North Spring mission, vision, values, and culture. The Recruiter will be a talented "hunter" and someone who thrives in developing strategic searches for candidates.

Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.

Compensation package: Competitive salary. Three meals a day provided at no cost to employees.

Qualifications

  • Is responsible for meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates.

  • Sources candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.

  • Develops job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.

  • Is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails screening candidates, preliminary phone screens, pre-employment tests, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations etc.

  • Ensures candidates have a pleasant experience. Takes ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it.

  • Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices. Coordinates recruiting and retention strategies and succession planning process.

  • Processes new hires through iCIMS, drafts offer letters, and conducts other necessary recruitment activities, such as license/education, credentialing

  • Manages onboarding and new hire process. Provides administrative and organizational support for HR events such as new employee orientation, hiring events (usually takes place on weekends) etc.

  • Organizes and facilitates the 90-day and performance review processes to include ensuring timely submission of NSBH On-Boarding Toolkit for Direct Care Managers, evaluation forms, connecting supervisor’s and employees to schedule review dates, ensuring timely completion of paperwork for entry to the employee’s file.

  • Acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications, including CPS, FBI, ACE Assessment, Precheck (background checks, driving record checks, education verification etc.) and other HR hire paperwork.

  • Is responsible for reporting the quarterly CPS background check matrix and other reports.

  • Maintains solid professional relationships with external stakeholders, related to recruiting (such as Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, licensing authorities, UHS, Precheck, Shaker etc.)
