Elevate your career with an exciting newly created opportunity at Sulzer’s Pumps Parts Retrofits (PPR) division in Leeds, where we’re on the lookout for a driven Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SiOP) Business Analyst . This is a chance for a problem solver with a passion for business change to make a significant impact on our operations. As a key player in our SiOP department, you’ll delve into data consistency and spearhead improvements within both the Demand and Supply sides of the business.

This position involves remote work, overseeing Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning throughout the EMEA region. While we are flexible regarding your location, we prefer candidates based in the UK/Europe.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyze demand trends using our CRM tool, working closely with Sales, Service, and Tendering teams.

  • Synthesize internal sales data and external market insights to influence demand planning.

  • Gather and assess supply trends data from our four business units across the EMEA region.

  • Validate your findings and improvement ideas in collaboration with sales and operational teams.

  • Create and manage sales pipeline and operational supply plan dashboards, providing crucial analysis for the SiOP process.

  • Present your data insights and ideas in monthly SiOP sessions, taking on actions for further analysis.

  • Establish data quality governance, best practices, and standards to enhance future analytics.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An experienced analyst with over 5 years in the role within an engineering / manufacturing seting.

  • A degree in business or a related discipline is advantageous.

  • Proficiency with systems like SAP, QlickSense, Salesforce, Tagetik.

  • Skilled in dashboard and report creation.

  • A goal-driven individual with effective communication skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities and a curious mind that seeks out trends in data.

  • High accuracy and adaptability in your work.

  • Expertise in data modelling and Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with MS Visio or similar workflow tools.
