About the Role

You will be responsible for leading, and managing the desk account management sales team of 8 based in our Leeds office. Your team will deliver high performance against revenue and KPO targets and best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing sales strategies and operating plans ensuring customer and opportunity is proactively managed and engaged with

  • Ensuring all new joiners receive an effective and comprehensive induction plan to set them up for success

  • Identifying competitor threats and developing effective countermeasures.

  • Dealing with and resolving employment and performance issues as required

  • Identifying customer sub-groups, targeting customers already using competitor services, developing plans to proactively engage with appropriate offers

  • Supporting target setting and influencing policy and strategy providing input when required

  • Gathering customer and market insights ensuring we meet the customer needs and reporting this against our goal

  • Managing conflict and seeking commercial resolution of customer disputes

Requirements

  • Have excellent people management and coaching capabilities driving sales teams to achieve

  • Have a solid sales/customer service track record, with responsibility for delivery of large volume revenue targets

  • Demonstrate the ability to present and connect to staff at all levels as well executive level audiences

  • Be able to prioritize in an agile environment to drive, and achieve results through self and others

  • Have excellent leadership, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills

  • Have strong conflict management and negotiation skills
