We are hiring a year-round Housekeeper who is experienced, proactive, and meticulous. This individual will have a proven track record of caring for fine furnishings, laundering delicate fabrics, customized surfaces, and finishes. QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTER SKETCH: - Have related experience and expertise in similar positions - Honest, diligent, responsible, courteous, and discreet - Positive attitude and pleasant personality - Have an exceptional eye for detail - Extensive knowledge of the care of fine furnishings, antiques, and artwork - Hard-working, with strong organizational skills; excellent time manager. Flexible attitude; hands-on approach to all tasks - Able to follow directions and instructions from the employer and accept constructive criticism - Long-term intent CLOTHING CARE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Excellent knowledge of laundry with ironing skills and basic mending - Tidy closets and put away clothes in drawers ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain household product inventories and request to re-order items as necessary - Prepare occasional, simple meals - Assist in serving when needed and attend to guests\' needs COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Work week generally Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4 PM. Occasionally work weekends, particularly in the summer months. Flexibility is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and willingness to learn. Benefits include employee discounts, weekly milk stipends, health insurance, Aflac, and a matching 401(k) retirement plan. Although not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in housekeeping.
