Our team is seeking a Receiving Expeditor to help support REI’s daily operations by accurately and effectively managing the product flow by verifying our inventory, working with vendors on any problem receipts, managing the UPS receipt process, appropriately slotting product, and handling more complicated situations, such as returns from our retail locations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

How you will be successful: * *

  • Handle product in an efficient and trained manner; being mindful of personal and team safety in operations.

  • Prioritize daily workloads to perform tasks at prescribed rates while working as a team in assigned department.

  • Proactively and accurately communicate updates when receiving and processing products.

  • Process and handle product in multiple departments as assigned, specific, but not limited to:

  • Accurately receive and or/track product using an RF scanner.

  • Prepares retail and direct to consumer (D2C) products for shipment by picking and sorting products accurately.

  • Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.

  • Able to adhere to lifting requirements and use DC technology.

  • Operate various types of power equipment to move freight and complete assigned tasks.

  • Receive oversize and specialized customer orders.

Your qualities:

  • No warehouse experience necessary.

  • Flexibility to work within different departments.

  • Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.

  • Able to work standing or walking on concrete floors for 8–12-hour shifts.

  • Works efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work.
