FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

Our Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for all small parts shipments from our Parts Department. Provides support in daily freight shipments, receiving, inspecting and properly storing incoming parts to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval. Acts as a resource to internal teams to source and retrieve service parts.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepares daily order shipments by performing the necessary functions of picking the parts, properly packing them and then shipping them through the UPS or FEDEX Portal in conjunction with our ERP system.

  • Receives and unloads incoming materials, verifies quantities shown on packing slips to actual items received and matches to the original purchase order and Fecon part number; documents location for entry into the ERP system and creates new locations for new parts.

  • Conducts a visual inspection of parts and documents any shipping damage; reports damaged goods to vendor and work in conjunction with the vendor to resolve damaged issues.

  • Accurately stores parts for easy accessibility.

  • Facilitates supplier returns for Fecon; obtains return materials authorization (RMA) and properly packages parts for return to the supplier.

  • Delivers service parts upon request or as necessary.

  • Daily review of Kit inventory and building of kits as needed.

  • Perform warehouse transfers by pulling parts and moving them from one warehouse to the next and performing transfer function within our ERP system.

  • Handles the returns of Parts orders coming back to Fecon, conducts inspection, checks the parts in, determines shelf location and replaces the parts on the appropriate shelf accordingly.

  • Works in conjunction with other shipping personnel to ensure all parts labels are accurate and create new labels for parts that are moved or new to the warehouse.

  • Ensures the department is orderly and organized by maintaining the 5S standards.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

  • Ability to use an overhead crane, fork truck and pallet jack.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safety lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Most work performed standing at floor level.

  • Required to walk, sit, use hands or fingers for gripping pressure to carry, lift, push or pull items with machine assistance and operate hand controls.
