Here's what you'd do: Participates in semi-complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as needed and serves as a liaison between vendors and internal partners, getting prior approval for purchases more than established limits. Resolves semi-complex delivery, quality, or other related problems with purchases and invoices. Participates in updating project plans and purchasing systems; reviews and analyzes requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases. Completes regular forecasting and planning for several relevant indicators (turnover, production, inventories, changes in inventory, capital expenditure requirements, and employee capacities). Analyzes controls and reports on relevant KPIs (supplier time delivery, PO confirmation, inventory value, and invoice discrepancies), detects and evaluates plan deviations, and recommends remedial measures. Develops supplier forecasts and determines logistical processes with suppliers. Introduces and implements logistical requirements regarding material provision, delivery, and phase-in/out in the PLM process. Plans and controls assigned inventories and stocks (supply level, planning adjustments), analyzes inventory changes and develops measures for inventory reduction. Analyzes and controls logistical processes (cycle time, first pass yield, on-time delivery, KPI of effectiveness, productivity) to detect weaknesses and start process improvements.
