Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves providing first stop technical response for after hours operations, managing and monitoring server and network logs, coordinating and facilitating outage calls and emergent technical response, as well as system administration and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Answering the front-line technical services and data center phones

• Assisting incoming callers in identifying and potentially troubleshooting technical issues and support requests

• Coordinating incoming support calls and routing to appropriate on-call personnel during non-business hours

• Monitoring and managing server uptime and notifying related on-call personnel in the event of a technical interruption

• Providing rudimentary and introductory support, troubleshooting, and problem identification during non-business hours

• Collaborating with technical services staff on regular maintenance and support tasks after hours

• Assisting in managing and monitoring server and network alerts and facilitating troubleshooting and resolution

• Applying security updates, operating system patches, and major upgrades to the Windows Desktop platforms

• Managing and monitoring conditions at local and remote data centers, assisting in coordinating maintenance of both data centers

• Troubleshooting and resolving Tier 1 technical support issues revealed via server monitoring or incoming phone calls

• Assisting in developing operational procedures, depending on the application

• Monitoring and managing Windows desktop images with software tools, assisting in patching and update process through LanDesk

• Providing 24 x 7 response for critical hospital technology systems Requirements • Proven experience in a Help Desk Analyst role within the Healthcare/NHS industry for a minimum of two years

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with Active Directory and its related services

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and its configuration

• Understanding of Configuration Management processes and tools

• Experience in providing Deskside Support to users

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware and its maintenance

• Proficient in using Ticketing System for tracking and resolving issues

• Experience in Desktop administration and maintenance

• Familiarity with Desktop Imaging and its related tools

• Proven ability to provide Desktop Support for various issues

• Experience with Cherwell or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) tools

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
