Copeland Facilities and Support Manager in Lebanon, Missouri

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our high volume compressor manufacturing facility! Based at our Lebanon, MO site, you will provide technical leadership in the planning and implementing of new equipment and automated manufacturing technologies for New Product Development (NPD) and for existing legacy high volume assembly manufacturing. You will serve as a talent development coach for your Engineering team, ensuring training plans across the multi-disciplined skill sets are established and implemented. You will deliver manufacturing system solutions that optimize Assembly cost, capital investment, and performance. This position will lead, manage and assign capital investment projects including, providing Return on Investment (ROI) justifications, coordinating resource assignments, providing project reports and updates as required, and initiating corrective actions to risk mitigation assessments as needed to keep projects on track.

AS A FACILITIES AND SUPPORT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and replacements of building systems, equipment, and grounds.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities maintenance plan that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Manage and supervise facilities staff, including facilities maintenance technicians, contract custodians, contract security and groundskeepers.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services, such as fire suppression and emergency warning systems.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Manage facility budgets and develop cost-saving initiatives for maintenance and operations.

  • Oversee waste management and disposal procedures.

  • Coordinate facility space allocation and ensure an efficient and functional layout of office areas.

  • Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all facilities equipment, including HVAC, Boilers, Switch Gears, Air Compressors, etc. both at the plant and warehouse.

  • Track and manage utility consumption and identify opportunities for reduction.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the facility.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

  • Develop facilities related capital program for 1 and 1-5 year planning cycles.

You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. You create and implement plans that allocate resources precisely.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Associate degree in a related field.

  • 10 years of experience in a Facilities technical or managerial role.

  • Strong technical project management skills including developing schedules, driving team decisions, mitigating risks, and budgeting.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop collaborative relationships and drive cross-functional engagement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems.

  • Proficiency in MS Office products

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Experience in power distribution
