Job Overview: As a Full Stack Developer at Moody\'s, you will be key in architecting and implementing end-to-end solutions for our web applications. You will lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in full-stack development, a deep understanding of best practices, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Implement server-side logic and APIs using NodeJS and Python.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests using Jest, Enzyme, and React Testing Library to ensure the reliability and quality of the codebase.
  • Use REACT tools, such as Webpack, Redux, and Flux, to manage state and handle complex application logic effectively.
  • Implement React Router for efficient routing within applications and utilize Axios to make HTTP requests to backend services.
  • Leverage Next.js for server-side rendering and building production-ready React applications.
  • Utilize Material UI or similar component libraries to streamline the development of UI components and maintain a consistent design system.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent military or professional experience
  • At least 2+ years of practical experience in software engineering (with an advanced degree)
  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and Typescript
  • 2+ years of experience with Python and Flask
  • 2+ years of experience with React
  • 1+ years of working with the relational database such as PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master\'s degree
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, Typescript and Python
  • 3+ years of experience with React and Flask
  • 2+ years\' experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another major cloud service provider
  • 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker or a valid CKAD certification
  • 1+ years\' experience designing and developing production-quality RESTful APIs and microservices
  • 1+ years of experience with Terraform
  • 1+ years\' experience in Agile practices
  • Experience developing GraphQL APIs

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is \$94,800 to \$137,200, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
