Subcontracts Manager

KBR’s global business comprises two main segments – Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) and Government Solutions (GS). This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit.

Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.

KBR is looking for determined and motivated Subcontracts Managers to work on various projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, Implementing, and managing a portfolio of Large EPCM Package Contracts and Site Services Agreements associated with the Project.

  • Preparing and issuing tender documentation where applicable.

  • Compiling tender documentation, ensuring that the package is complete and viable.

  • Strategising and holding tender clarification meetings.

  • Facilitating information to and from tenderers.

  • Issuing tender bulletins and clarification documentation.

  • Ensuring that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out in a timely manner.

  • Preparing and managing the issuance of contracts and its documentations. Preparing and holding Kick Off Meetings.

  • Planning, developing and executing Post award Contract management activities.

  • Responsible for Contract Close out.

  • Reporting Contract progress from Pre to Post Award, through Project Systems.

Relationships:

Working with multi-discipline Project teams to deal with Contractors, OIM’s and Suppliers. Dealing with Client and KBR Stakeholders. To be part of a greater team and learn skills and experiences to better facilitate the projects.

Education & Experience:

Essential Qualifications:

  • BSc., University degree in any of the main Legal, Business, or Engineering branches., i.e., Mechanical, Civil, electrical, chemical, or equivalent

Experience:

  • EPCM experience is preferred.

  • Developed and executed Contracts & Procurement within Oil & Gas or Renewable projects.

  • Previous experience as a Sub Contracts Manager.
