Future Opportunities:
KBR Information Management Team is looking to connect with Principal Information Management Systems Engineers for future opportunities. As an IM Systems Engineer you will define, setup and support project engineering and execution systems integrations. In this role you would be responsible for the specification, implementation, management and operation of interfaces between engineering applications, Engineering Data Warehouse and Digital Twin visualisation technology such as Hexagon SMARTPLANT, AVEVA suite.
It involves receiving and performing data transfers, managing change and generating reports and to ensure effective exchange and handover of a complete, accurate dataset for operation phase.
Development and maintenance of project tag numbering schema, Class Libraries, data ETL, reporting and data progress measurement.
Other roles and responsibilities include:
Plan, direct, co-ordinate and be the focal point for data management systems integration.
Facilitate the setup and configuration of the data repositories to meet the project requirements.
Definition and implementation of data ETL interfaces between application databases.
Defining Class libraries.
Setup and ensure compliance with Data Standards
Define and develop Project Data reports and analytics.
What you will need:
University degree qualification or equivalent oil and gas industry experience.
Experience in an engineering data system.
Experience of using and managing Engineering Data Warehouses such as AVEVA Engineering, SMARTPLANT Foundation, Life Cycle Server or similar.
Experience of using and managing engineering class libraries using AVEVA Information Standards Manager or similar.
IT Skills – Excellent working knowledge of databases and reporting
A strong technical background in Oracle 12c, PL\SQL, ETL and data warehousing.
Automation of processes using different scripting languages like PowerShell, CMD etc.
Self-sufficient and be creative in defining reporting/data solutions.
A strong background with the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).
Knowledge of Digital Twin visualisation AVEVA Net, AIM and Engage or similar.
Knowledge of CFIHOS.
