Job Description Summary

We are currently seeking a talented Global Network Planner to join our team. If you have an Engineering background with minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing supply chain and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!

As the Global Network Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply planning process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring global demand and supply reconciliation, adjusting suppliers share and network balance, and highlighting any gaps to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing supply risks, and facilitating effective decision-making.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong analytical and communication skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, so being a team player is essential. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset are also important qualities for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Raw Materials:

  • Monitor global demand/supply reconciliation and adjust suppliers share and network balance

  • Highlight any remaining gaps to the relevant stakeholders

  • Provide high-level inventory coverage guidelines and monitor global inventory levels

  • Lead raw material plant supply consensus and ensure network strategy adoption

  • Consolidate quarterly global requirements forecasts and ensure supplier commitment

  • Escalate supply risks and own crisis management

Finished Goods:

  • Integrate sales and inventory priorities into factory production plans

  • Confirm product availability dates at final DC

  • Monitor global inventory and highlight deviation risks

  • Provide information for decision-making in case of supply constraints

  • Guarantee accurate supply projection per customers

  • Assist in gathering information for the monthly IBP cycle and proactively escalate supply risks

  • Own master data settings related to the perimeter

Mid-term Capacity Settings:

  • Consolidate global demand and supply reconciliation

  • Maximize global capacity available

  • Proactively identify the need for capacity adjustments

  • Provide sourcing guidelines to Sales analyst Demand Planning

  • Provide accurate inventory and BO projection

  • Assist in gathering data for long-term capacity process

Coordination:

  • Assist in gathering supply planning details in case of escalation

  • Collect business priorities associated with the perimeter

The Global Network Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the supply planning process. They are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing supply risks, and facilitating effective decision-making.

About you:

University degree in Supply Chain or ideally in a Technical Field like Engineering

Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing Supply Planner position.

Strong analytical skills, capable to drill-down for root cause analysis, linked to capability to synthesize and translate findings into business language.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Proficient in the use of Excel, Power Point and Word

Working knowledge of SAP and CI tools (i.e., Six Sigma) would be a plus

Fluency in English required

Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role is located in our global headquarter in Pont de Claix (Grenoble area) and offers a 2 days from home working option aligned with BD working policy.
