Responsible for overseeing and resolving any automation faults that occur on pallet conveyor, case conveyors, conventional palletizers, and robotic palletizers in one of the world's largest ice cream freezers. Additional tasks include but not limited to operating powered industrial forklifts, following specific SOP's, cleaning processes and properly documenting Food Safety and Quality programs, processes and inspections in a cold storage warehouse environment. - Complete all job duties in accordance with any applicable: *Safety Procedures/Policies *Work Documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Works, Talking Points *Best Practices *Verbal Instructions from Freezer leadership - Manage all functions of the Robots: * Manage and Correct faults that occur on the Robots * Monitor the condition of the product that is stacked by the Robot * Assist Maintenance in troubleshooting issues in the Robots * Adjust settings and coordinate flavor changes when necessary on the Robots - Perform Shack Duties: * Maintain Product flow on conveyors * Assist Maintenance in troubleshooting issues with the conveyors * Create inventory in Oracle and generate LPNs - Manage all functions of the Palletizers: * Manage and Correct faults that occur in the Palletizers * Monitor the condition of the product that is stacked by the Palletizers * Assist Maintenance in troubleshooting issues with the Palletizers * Adjust settings / coordinate flavor changes when necessary in the Palletizer - Manage all functions of the inducts: * Verify the quality of the pallets that are inducted * Manage and Correct faults that occur on the inducts * Manually Operate the Inducts when necessary - Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.

Approximate shift start times of 4:55 PM and 6:55 PM with normal shift lengths of 10 -12 hours.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of or be able to learn the following: Basic safety and orientation knowledge. Systems flow and overview of all departments of the freezer. Specialized knowledge and ability to be trained in the area of work.
  • Time management and effective communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform all required duties in an efficient safe manner.
  • Must be able to pass proficiency tests in the allotted amount of time after training.
  • Read, write, andinterpret instructions, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, work with a sense of urgency, troubleshoot, problem solve.
  • Must be able to work well in team environment and perform duties with a positive attitude.
