LAYTON CITY Part Time Amphitheater Lead Technician in LAYTON, Utah

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Performs a variety of administrative and technical duties, as needed to coordinate the day-to-day operation at the Edward A. Kenley Centennial Amphitheater and other recreation events.

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Promotes and follows the City's mission statement, values and expectations.
  • Initiates and helps coordinate the daily activities in the Amphitheater to insure all programs, concerts, plays or other activities are carried out in a professional manner.
  • Insures that all sound and lighting is set up in a way that will not harm the system or be used in a damaging manner. Takes care of equipment so it can be stored for future use, this will include unloading trucks of equipment and setting it up for performances.
  • Must be able to work on scissor lifts and ladders. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment.
  • Must be willing to hang lights and move them for each show and to do all duties to insure the program goes on.
  • Most work is late afternoon and at night; sometimes after midnight. Must have transportation to get to and from work.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

16 years of age or older.

Must be able to provide transportation to activity sites.

Must be able to work late hours.
