kihomaccomp Aerospace Coater - 3rd Shift in LAYTON, Utah

Apply primer and paint per military specification Check expiration dates of materials prior to use, prepare proper mixes of resins and catalysts Maintain records as required Support quality process by maintaining work area in an orderly condition by returning tools, equipment, and material to storage areas Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices Work with Composites Fabrication Manager to ensure that all responsibilities are met, and others understand the tasks they have been given Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly paint booth and toolbox inspections Other duties as assigned This is a third shift role and will report from 8pm to 6:30am!

Requirements

Education/Training (both required and desired):

Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline required

Experience:

2+ years of professional experience in the required task area required Extensive knowledge in the mixing, viscosity measuring, and paint thickness measurement per military and commercial specifications Extensive knowledge of bodywork using fillers to attain a smooth surface finish Extensive knowledge of surface preparation to ensure a proper finish Must be able read, interpret, and understand military specifications, aircraft blueprints, commercial product blueprints, AS9100, and NADCAP Specifications

Security:

Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
