How you'll make an impact:

SiriusXM is in an exciting phase of growth, and we're in pursuit of a Senior Design Program Manager to join our Design Operations/Design System team, who shares our passion for delivering a great experience to our listeners.

Design Program Managers at SiriusXM are passionate connectors and adept problem-solvers. By supporting the various aspects of the product team, you will enable designers to devote their energy to what they do best: designing, building, and launching outstanding products that our users love.

This is a highly collaborative position, taking the lead on critical initiatives within the SiriusXM Design team. You'll ensure design and design systems are seamlessly incorporated into product development and that there is effective collaboration among product designers, design system designers, engineering, and TPMs. Your focus will be on enhancing design operations and fostering an environment where both product designers and design system designers can thrive.

What you'll do:

  • Lead key programs across our Experience Design team. This role spans our design system and product design team.

  • Help drive the Design team's project management and prioritization. Work with cross-functional members to have real-time knowledge of Product priorities and ensure alignment across the Design Team.

  • Maintain a source of truth for design project status. Serve as the point-of-contact for tracking and reporting on projects and initiatives, blockers, risks, and dependencies.

  • Improve Design/Product/Engineering/Technical program management collaboration.

  • Partner with the Design System team and Technical program management to drive prioritization and sprint planning in Jira.

  • Support the Design System team by promoting adoption across feature teams and ensuring that the system evolves in alignment with product needs and industry best practices

What you'll need:

  • 4-6 years experience in Program Management, Human-centered design or related field

  • Experience working with design systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and work with staff at all level

  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated delivery of large-scale programs and projects, that drove meaningful impact to the business

  • Understanding of the different Agile processes that can support a healthy design and product development workflow

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

  • Experience using JIRA

  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite, G Suite and relevant project management tools

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $125,100 to $165,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
