SUMMARY

This is technical work supporting and improving manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand production- work as operator in molding, paint, and assembly (1-2 wks each)

Understand Molding (work with mold tech and engineer - (1-2 wks)

Understand Paint - Work with paint tech and engineer - (1-2 wks)

Understand Assembly - work with maintenance tech and engineer (1-2 wks)

Assist in mold samples

Assist in tool room to learn injection tools

Work with engineers to do time studies

Develop WIP packaging

Put together production instructions (OIS,QIS,Process sheets, Quality alerts...)

Participate and put together PPS

Work with Launch champion as needed

Mock up parts to simulate engineering changes

Write work orders

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Enrollment in an Engineering degree program.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possess the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position typically does not require any travel.
