State of Massachusetts Contracted Student Interns in Lawrence, Massachusetts
The Marguerite Residential Program is seeking a full time Summer Intern to provide assistance to clients with access to technology by providing basic technology skills around smart phone, virtual appointments, on-line job applications, and access to mental health supports via Apps and on-line support groups such as AA/NA. Many people served have not had the opportunity to have instruction in basic technology and have, as a result, had more difficulty accessing medical and psychiatric care in the community. This position will provide basic levels of instruction and guidance to residential consumers to help them gain these skills as they move on to more independent settings. _Preferred Qualifications_ Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency. _Period of Service:_ May 28, 2024 through August 30, 2024 _Additional Information:_ Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals. All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit. The salary for this position is$18.00per hour. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Days Off: Saturday and Sunday First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.
