Description

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance withsafety and environmentalregulations

  • Fill production log sheet/written records as directed

  • Regular independent learning

  • Regular maintenance ofmachinery and equipmentas part of themaintenance and repairplans

  • Report deviations from the normal production process (machine faults, tool malfunctions, material problems, etc...)

  • Report quality defects

  • Inspection of thepartsin accordance with theworker-inspection planoraccording toinstructionbefore packing

  • Packaging of products in accordance with instructions

  • As part of TPM, maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace at all times

  • · Productionexperience, ideallyina company in theplastics packaging industry

  • · Good understanding oftechnical processes

  • · Good knowledge of operating supplies

  • · Willingness to work in shifts

  • · Willingness to follow training in order to become machine operator and Plant/installations operator

  • Readiness for self development in the field of plastics processing

  • Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift 35 pounds

  • Walking and standing for long periods (at least 8 hours)

  • Moving fuel tanks in and out of stations for 8 hours

  • Operating Lift assist (moving around larger pieces of equipment)

  • Using hand tools / hammer type tools

  • Bending down to pick up and move fuel tanks for 1 hour period (WIP loading / unloading)

  • Working around large equipment

  • Dexterity (frequent use of 1 or 2 hands for tasks involving fingering, gripping and manipulation)

  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.

  • Ability to operate pallet jack (powered)

  • Bending and lifting materials 5-10 times in a row
