303.50 - Job Description - MaintenanceMechanic Position Reports to:Production Manager

General Function: It is the responsibility of each employee of the Company to understand and promote the Company Mission Statement and Statement of Values while adhering to the Company Code of Conduct. The primary responsibility of this position is to repair and maintain machinery, basic plumbing, physical structure, and basic electrical wiring of production establishment.

Experience: Three years of experience in a maintenance related field is required.

Education: High school diploma required with additional technical education preferred.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: The ability to operate numerous pieces of metal working equipment including welders, mills, metal cutting saws etc.is required. Basic knowledge in the electrical and hydraulic field is required. . Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance.Maintaining and servicing all production equipment per schedule. Removing dust, dirt, grease and waste material from machines and surrounding areas. Performing checks on all forklifts as per schedule. Immediately repairing any unsafe equipment. Maintaining physical facilities including office, restrooms, canteen, plant area and outlying buildings. Assisting special project's manager when required by supervisor. Regularly performing all preventative maintenance as per schedule.
