Scotland Health Care System Maternal Health Community Health Educator/ RN Patient Navigator in Laurinburg, North Carolina

The Community Health Educator/Patient Navigator position assists in developing, administering, promoting, and marketing various programs designed to meet the health care needs of the communities of Scotland, Robeson, and Marlboro counties. Duties include keeping materials and services updated and current while researching trends in health and wellness education and also developing educational programs based on needs assessment for the local community, as well as performing data collection and reporting.

Qualifications include Associate Degree Nursing or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred (RN or BSN), or Bachelor's Degree in health related field such as Health Education or Health Promotion; previous experience in community health education preferred; excellent communication and presentation skills, including the use of social media; excellent organization, computer, and customer service skills.
