Jasper General Hospital / Jasper County Nursing Home RN - Pro Care Home Health in Laurel, Mississippi

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To assure the delivery of quality nursing care to patients in their place of residence.

 Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

 Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 Carry out Physician's Plan of Treatment and report changes as necessary

 Consult with physician regarding disease and symptom management needs

 Instruct and supervise the patient and/or the responsible person in meeting patient care needs

 Demonstrate the ability to observe, record and report needs/ concerns and coordinate the care of the patient while maintaining a constructive relationship with the patient and caregivers

 Provide supervisory visits for Certified Nurse Aides as per Medicare guidelines  

 Participate in standby coverage to provide 24 hour RN availability to Home Health clients, will be on call a minimum of once a week and will be required to participate in call rotation on weekends, and holidays

 Develop a schedule for patient care and maintain a schedule that follows physician orders

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• Current Registered Nurse license through the MS State Board of Nursing with one year nursing experience
