Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement.

AT&T has an opening for a Lead Storage and Backup Engineer to support Public Sector Solutions.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team.

  • Proven skills in data storage administration.

  • Experience implementing high-availability storage solutions used to manage and protect mission-critical data.

  • In-depth administration, and performance management for NetApp data storage controllers running the ONTAP operating system in NFS and Windows (CIFS) multiprotocol environments.

  • Experience with CommVault Backup design, installation, configuration, and administration. Other backup storage solution knowledge such as TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) Netbackup and EMC Avamar is acceptable.

  • Experience with deploying a SAN storage solutions for Windows, Linux, Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL Database Cluster systems.

Desired Experience with the following:

  • NETAPP Active IQ Unified Manager software.

  • Brocade Switches and Brocade Network Advisor software.

  • Tape Libraries.

  • VMware vSphere/vCenter.

  • MS SQL cluster servers.

  • Windows and Linux servers.

  • AWS EFS and other cloud storage technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

  • DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required (SEC+ce or A+ or Network+ or CCNA).

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Fourteen (14) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Our Lead Storage/Backup Engineer (SE2) (Government) earns between $108,000 - $219,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
